PowerPoint Is Evil?

This will make you think twice about your favorite presentation software. As excerpted from this Wired article on Edward Tufte's famous discourse:
At a minimum, a presentation format should do no harm. Yet the PowerPoint style routinely disrupts, dominates, and trivializes content. Thus PowerPoint presentations too often resemble a school play -very loud, very slow, and very simple.
The point here isn't to lambaste MS Powerpoint, but to shake up the preconceived notions of what it means to deliver an effective presentation.
