Preparing for Irene: A letter to our customers
To Our Valued Customers,
Most of you are aware that there is a potential weather event that may impact the east coast. At M5 Networks, we are tracking the progress of Hurricane Irene as we follow all weather-related events that have the potential to impact our service.
In addition to our disaster recovery initiatives here at our corporate offices, our Network Operations Center is tracking the storm’s path and progress, while at the same time monitoring our networks and services across our entire footprint. We have extra support and engineering staff in place this weekend in preparation for any storm related complications. We want to assure you that all our efforts will continue until all potential network issues have been remediated.
We encourage all of our customers to take the time to review their Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans through the Service Portal. In addition, you should encourage your staff to take full advantage of remote phone use and Find Me features that are free with the M5 phone system. These solutions will ensure that your day to day business will run smoothly, even if your employees cannot get into the office.
We greatly appreciate your confidence in M5 Networks. We hope that you won’t need to use it as a result of this storm, but we are prepared to help you with any situation that may arise.
